SUMMARY:Technology Workshop: Windows 11 Basics
DESCRIPTION:The National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) and the Bangor Public 
 Library will co-sponsor a free 3-session workshop\, "Windows 11 Basics\," 
 on Tuesdays June 24\, July 1\, and July 8\, from 10:30-11:30 AM\, in the 
 library's Computer Lab.\n\nLearn how to get the most out of your Windows 11 
 computer. In this class you will learn about the operating system\, 
 navigating the desktop and taskbar\, the File Explorer\, working with 
 files\, using Microsoft Edge and so much more. Participants are encouraged 
 to bring their own laptop computer running Windows 11 if they have one\, or 
 use a computer provided for the class. Not sure what operating system your 
 computer is using? Feel free to ask at the reference desk on the second 
 floor of the library and we can identify it for you.\n\nAll workshops are 
 free of charge to Maine residents\, but space is limited\, so registration 
 is required to attend. To register for all three sessions\, fill out the 
 form on the NDEC website or call Nina for assistance at (207) 
 825-2540.\n\nThe National Digital Equity Center provides communities at all 
 levels the expertise needed to mobilize broadband technologies through 
 digital inclusion\, literacy efforts\, education\, resource planning\, 
 funding research\, infrastructure leveraging and stakeholder engagement.
