Start-Up Marketing on a Budget

Start-Up Marketing on a Budget Online

The Bangor Public Library and SCORE Northern Maine will host an online presentation on "Start-Up Marketing on a Budget," with Dan Reed of SCORE, on Wednesday, October 26 at 12:00 PM.

Businesses in the startup phase are faced with a lot of hard and fast choices on a limited budget, and many of these choices don’t have a lot to do with the core mission of the business. How do you know who your best customers are? What should your website look like? What should you post to social media? What social media platform should you be posting on? How do you differentiate myself from the competition?

While it may not seem like it, the choices that come with these questions have long-reaching consequences for your brand and how customers can find you. This presentation will cover the basics of how to lay the foundations for your marketing strategy without high dollar investments. The webinar will include examples about how different businesses market in different ways, how to identify your ideal customers for your marketing, cost-effective social media strategy, what actually matters when you are building your first website, and how to co-market with fellow entrepreneurs. You do not need a huge marketing budget to have a successful marketing strategy; you just need to be passionate about your startup.

This event is free of charge, but registration is required to attend by Zoom. Sign up using the form below or by calling 922-6055.
