The Bangor Public Library and SCORE Northern Maine will host an online presentation on "Tax Readiness for the Self-Employed," by Jean Dempster, Program Director at New Ventures Maine, on Wednesday, November 30 at 12:00 PM.

Learn how to organize your financial records, understand your tax responsibilities, and become familiar with tax forms. This workshop will be helpful if you want to file on your own, or be ready to work with a paid tax preparer, and is designed for sole-proprietors and single-member LLCs. Jean Dempster is a Microenterprise Specialist and the Program Director at New Ventures Maine (NVME). NVME is a community development outreach program of University of Maine at Augusta/University of Maine System.
