From Art to Business: Pricing Strategies Online

The Bangor Public Library and SCORE Nothern Maine will host "From Art to Business: Pricing Strategies" with Jean Dempster of New Ventures Maine, on Wednesday, May 25 at 12 PM, virtually by Zoom.

Are you an artist? Maybe you'd like to turn your creative work into a business, but don't feel comfortable charging for your work? Learning to price your products and services is critical for your success. In this workshop, we will explore pricing methods to help you develop best practices for your business. This presentation is open to all, including emerging artists, makers, and other creative entrepreneurs, and there will be time for discussion and questions.

Jean Dempster is a Microenterprise Specialist and the Program Director at New Ventures Maine (NVME). NVME is a community development outreach program of University of Maine at Augusta/University of Maine System. NVME's mission is to help Mainers succeed in the changing economy and achieve economic security for themselves and their families. Jean works primarily with small business owners and sole proprietors. She enjoys working with entrepreneurs to increase personal and business financial management skills.
