Workshop: Intro to Computers & the Internet

Workshop: Intro to Computers & the Internet In-Person / Online

Are you new to computers and the internet? Learn about different types of computers and how they work, and get familiar with the basics of using the internet to search for and access information. This class is appropriate even if you have never used a computer before, or if you know a little but would like to learn more. The class covers computers using Windows, Mac, or Chrome operating systems.

Hannah Cyrus, Digital Media Librarian, will offer this class in-person in the computer lab at the Bangor Public Library from 2:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14. Virtual attendance by Zoom is also possible. This class is free, but space is limited, so registration is required. To register, use our online form below, or call Hannah at 922-6055.

The library offers regular technology workshops on different subjects. All workshops are free of charge. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop computer or device if they have one they want to learn on, or use one of the library’s computers if not. For more information, contact Hannah at 922-6055 or hannah.cyrus@bangorpubliclibrary.org.
