Wizards and Warp Drives - A Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club In-Person

Wizards and Warp Drives is a book club for lovers of the Science Fantasy and Fantasy genres. We meet the second Wednesday evening of the month to discuss a rotating selection of Sci-Fi and Fantasy titles.  BPL staff member, Amanda, will lead the group each month.

Reading Line-Up for the Next Few Months:

September 10th: The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi

October 8th: Meddling Kids but Edgar Cantero

November 12th: Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

December 10th: Piranesi by Susanna Clarke

January 14th: A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers

February 11th: The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown

About the Facilitator: Amanda loves to read more than just about anything else. She reads mainly sci-fi and fantasy, but really loves anything that makes you think about being a person (even if you're actually an orc or on a planet a billion lightyears away).
