Beyond Snow: Landscaping Ideas for Winter Appeal In-Person
The Bangor Public Library and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension invite the public to a free horticultural talk featuring plants for winter interest.
This informative session, led by Kate Garland, UMaine Extension Horticulture Professional, will focus on fall planting techniques that help create a vibrant, year-round landscape. Participants will learn why early fall is the perfect time to plant trees, shrubs, and perennials and how to enhance their garden's winter appeal with vibrant stems, ornamental grasses, and plants with colorful berries.
Pre-registration is preferred. Registered participants will receive a follow-up email with additional resources to help with their planting and landscaping efforts. The event is free and open to the public. To register, click here.
