About the workshop
This hands-on workshop will explore a variety of approaches to very wet watercolor as participants do a series of small paintings following each demo.

About Laura
Laura Barrett has introduced hundreds of people to watercolor as an instructor and artist in residence. A potter and painter for decades, she moved to Maine in 2020 from the Sierras
and has a studio overlooking the Penobscot River in Veazie. She now works primarily in water media and fiber. When not making art she can usually be found hiking, gardening, working on her 160-year-old house, or playing ancient and ethnic music.
