The Bangor Public Library and SCORE Northern Maine will host an online presentation by by Karin Petrin, SCORE volunteer and President/CEO of Karifin Partners, on "Intro to Business Financials." Numbers are the lifeblood of a business, but you don't need to do math to understand them! Gain an understanding of and learn how to take the pulse of your business using three of the most important financial reports without touching a calculator. Karin will discuss basic financial terms, profit/loss sheets, and other accounting basics for non-accountants.

Karin Petrin is the Founder of Karifin Partners, LLC. She holds degrees in Accounting and Business Administration and has worked over 28-years in public and private sector management. She is a serial entrepreneur and has owned and operated several successful small businesses over the last two plus decades, and has led communities in her role as a town manager and supported leadership in her role as CFO for a Tribal government. Karin has been Certified as a Business Advisor through the New England Professional Development group, Intuit Professional Bookkeeper, GoDaddy Pro Web Designer, QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor, by Falmouth Institute for Indirect Cost Recovery, by Office of Inspector General of the US Department of Interior for Fraud Awareness, and as an Individual and Small Business Tax Preparer.
